Homework

Every Friday, children will receive one piece of English and one piece of Maths homework to complete at home. This is due in on the following Thursday. If it is not completed, your child will miss a breaktime to complete this. However, this is something we wish to avoid. So if your child needs help or any resources, let us know before it is due so we can assist them.

Reading

Children are expected to read at least four times a week at home. This needs to be recorded in their Reading Records and signed by an adult. We check their Reading Records every Friday.

The children select books from a range of texts from their current reading level. This is assessed regularly to ensure children can access the language and understand what they are reading.

PE

We have PE every Tuesday and Friday so please make sure your child has their full kit in school each week as we change in school. They should have a plain white t-shirt, black shorts, black jogging bottoms, trainers and daps.
