Lunch Menus
School Meals
KS1 children (from Class R, Class 1, and Class 2 can have a (free) Universal Free School Meal or bring a packed lunch to eat during the supervised lunch break. Children in KS2 (Class 3, Class 4, Class 5 and Class 6) may also have a hot lunch if you are in receipt of benefits and your child is therefore entitled to a Free School Meal.
Parents who feel their older child (Y3 and up) are entitled to a Free School Meal are strongly advised to apply. Please speak to the School Secretary (Sam Loy or Michelle Knight) or School Business Manager(Donna Carter) in the school office. Even if a child does not take up the meal every day, an application enables the school to access additional funding through the Pupil Premium; this means you can use your allocated fund (part of the school budget) to pay for your child's swimming lessons, music lessons or school trips.
You also have the option to pay for hot meals in years 3,4,5 and 6. These can be paid for half termly in advance. Please see the staff in the office who can help you with the ordering process.
Children may bring drinks in a re-usable plastic bottle for playtime, snack time or lunch as needed.
As a 'Healthy School' we urge all parents to provide a balanced diet in lunch boxes, with no sweets.
