School Meals

KS1 children (from Class R, Class 1, and Class 2 can order a Universal Free School Meal or bring a packed lunch to eat during the supervised lunch break.  Children in KS2 (Class 3, Class 4, Class 5 and Class 6) may also have a hot lunch free if you are in receipt of benefits and your child is entitled to a Free School Meal.  

All meals, including Universal Infant Free School meals,  must now be ordered via Parent Pay.  The deadline for this is by Monday (suggest inputting meals choices before mid night on Sunday) every week and this will be for us to place the orders for meal ordering two weeks ahead. The menu can be found below to check for allergens. Click on Parent Pay to make your order.This allows for the deadlines of our meal provider and helps them with their ordering from their food suppliers. You can order half termly in advance, or weekly if you prefer.

Parents who feel their older child (Y3 and up) are entitled to a Free School Meal are strongly advised to apply.  Please speak to the School Secretary (Sam Loy or Michelle Knight) or School Business Manager (Donna Carter) in the school office.  Even if a child does not take up the meal every day, an application enables the school to access additional funding through the Pupil Premium; this means you can use your allocated fund (part of the school budget) to pay for your child's swimming lessons, music lessons or school trips.

You also have the option to pay for hot meals in years 3,4,5 and 6.  These can be ordered and paid for via Parent Pay with the same deadlines.  The current cost of a meal is £2.70. 

Children may bring drinks in a re-usable plastic bottle for playtime, snack time or lunch as needed.

As a 'Healthy School' we urge all parents to provide a balanced diet in lunch boxes, with no sweets.
